Sweden’s Pierre Lundin starts the final race of the 2016 UIM F2 season on pole this afternoon.

Owen Jelf and Rup Temper line up behind him and both have an excellent chance of securing third overall in the World Championship.

In yesterdays first Free Practice, 2016 UIM F2 European Champion and World Bronze Medal favourite Uvis Slakteris had his hopes dashed when he had a serious coming together with Fabrice Boulier.

The Grand Prix of Portugal commences at 15:45 (GMT +1).
