John Moore on 9th May 2018

The Dubai based Victory Team have today named Ahmed Al Fahim as the man to defend their F4-S title this season.

The series that is organised by H2o Racing, was won last year by Mansoor A-Mansoori who has stepped up to represent ‘the Boys in Blue’ in UIM F2.

Al Fahim has already had a varied motorsport career including  competing in the 2015 Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge and winning the Emirates Desert Rally Championship.

On water he has won the UAE Jet-Ski Championships, been crowned Middle East and Asian Champion and back in 2000, he won all 7 rounds of the Gulf Jet-Ski Championships.

Huraiz Bin Huraiz, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Victory Team commented:

We are always on the look out for local talent.
This year is going to be special for Victory Team as we mount a serious challenge in all five racing categories that we are participating in.
During testing last week, Ahmed caught our attention with his sheer capacity for pushing himself towards higher goals all the time.

Al Fahim spoke about his new challenge:

My long-term goals are to continue racing as long as I remain competitive.
I have been blessed with several gifts and with my confidence I can fulfill the aspirations of the Victory Team.
I am all for excitement and challenge in trying something new, at the same time flying the UAE flag high through sport.

Victory’s new driver will make his F4-S debut in Portimão, Portugal next weekend.
