Is the Guinness Book Of World Records correct?

Please Share!

The Guinness Book Of World Records have just added 76 year old Ken Charles as the current ‘oldest professional powerboat racer’.

Charles who was born in Trinidad and Tobago on August 1 1944, has been racing since 1970.

Off the top of my head I can think of two British offshore racers that could well be older, whether Guinness would classify them as professional could be another issue.

Do you know any older racers? Post your ideas in the Facebook comments section.
