In a retirement from UIM F2 racing that lasted all of one race, 2016 World Champion Pierre Lundin will return to competitive action at the Belgium GP next weekend.
Lundin will be one of 26 pilots competing in Antwerp for round 2 of the 2017 UIM F2 World Championship.
Engine wizard Christian Lundin told me this afternoon;
I can confirm that Pierre will race.
His Moore hull is still for sale and we thought it could be showcased at the Belgium GP.
Speaking to Chris Davies, Pierre Lundin commented on his return;
Chris it’s nothing big, we have the time to put the Moore back together because I wanted some fun.
After Antwerp, we will see if we will race at Tonsberg but that depends on how well I do in Belgium.
The prospect of racing in the largest field of F2 boats is extremely interesting.
