Anders Bak Rasmussen is making a dream come true for the city of Aalborg in Denmark, on Sunday June the 17th, 20 UIM F2 boats will compete for Round 2 of the 2018 World Championship.

Organiser of the event, Bak Rasmussen told Powerboat Racing World:

Aalborg will be hosting Match Racing for the F2 boats on the Friday and qualifying will be on Saturday.
On Sunday morning there will be the repechage and at 13.15 CET the race!

The UIM F2 World Championship round will compliment the Aalborg Regatta, an annual wooden ship / harbour festival with music concerts, tall ships and a display from the Royal Danish Navy.

The Event has full Backing from the Mayor of Aalborg, Tomas Kastrup-Larsen:

We are always doing our best to put Aalborg on the map and to attract some spectacular national and international events to the city.
The UIM F2 race is a perfect match for our annual Aalborg Regatta event.
