Trophies, but where are the boats?

Please Share!

Chioggia is playing host this week to the beleaguered UIM Class One and V1 classes.

Class One, once the Crown Jewell of International Offshore Racing, has an entry of just 2 competitors in this year’s World Championship in Italy.

The V1 Class has double the entry of the catamaran class, 4 boats.

At least Jean-Marie Van Lancker, the Belgium National Authority President and head of UIM COMINOFF seemed thrilled that there were plenty of trophies to go around.
