Today during qualifying for the F2 Grand Prix of Lithuania we witnessed Q3 being run under new UIM rules.

Rather than the six boats having two laps each to set the fastest time, the rules now dictate a 15 minute session where the boats can run as many laps as they desire.

I think it’s fair to say that the new format received a mixed reception.
