VOOMQUEST founder and 5-time World Champion Aaron Ciantar, commented on the series:

In less than a year, this event was recognised as a World Championship and given international rights.

This is the first Maltese organised Championship that holds an international title, having pilots from Malta, France, Belgium and Corsica.

The Executive Chairman of Enemed, the main sponsor behind this event, Kevin Chircop said:

Once again, we are very excited about this championship and look forward to having more teams competing in this world-class race. This will surely be another seal of approval for our fuels and their quality.

epower petrol was specifically developed by Enemed for high performance, and what an opportunity better than a powerboat championship to showcase this.
