Modin and Jansson retain the UIM 3A European Championship
Anton Modin and Susanne Jansson claimed their second UIM Class 3A European Championship win Smögen, Sweden in July.
Modin, driving a Phantom 19 G won both heats as he did with his 2016 title win in Tvedestrand, Norway last year.
The win was even more remarkable after Modin’s hull had suffered heavy damage after the Oskarshamn race 2 weekends before.
His A-82 Offshore racing team instructed Vaxholm Komposit AB to make repairs, and with the clock ticking, the Swedish boat builder excelled.
