The Welsh pairing saw off a spirited challenge from former UIM P750 Pro-Stock World Champions James Tapp and Ed Redman in their Magor Racing outfit.

Tapp told me tonight;

It’s going to take a while for me to get back to full race fitness and I didn’t have an answer to Rob and Darren today.

In third overall were the unlikely pairing of David Finlayson and Mark Blackman guesting in Multispark Racing.

Finlayson a fierce Scottish nationalist said after;

Third was a great result with no Red Flags throughout today’s racing, I just hope that is an omen for my SNP party in the General Election.
