Team Abu Dhabi’s Erik Stark has been testing in the UAE today in preparation for Round 6 of the 2018 UIM F1H2o World Championship.
Stark currently trails his team mate Shaun Torrente by 7 points, the final races in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah next month are crucial to a title challenge that didn’t look possible a week before the season started when the Swede hadn’t even signed up for a team.
His preparations in a new DAC hull today went well, he set the unofficial Abu Dhabi F1H2o lap record.
Stark posted on social media later:
So happy with the new boat.
This morning we posted the quickest time in Abu Dhabi course that ever been made.
Can’t wait for this week of more testing before the race!
