Slayer Racing announce 2016 partnerships

John Moore on 20th May 2016

Guernsey UIM Class 3A team Slayer Racing have announced their partners for the 2016 season, which they hope will help fulfil the enormous potential their brand new Phantom 19G-R has shown in initial testing.

Driver Paul Etasse says,

We are delighted to welcome Teng Tools as official tool and workshop equipment supplier for Slayer Racing. We have used Teng Tools for the rigging of the new boat, and our mechanic Neil has been using them for several years during the build of his 1930 Model A Ford Hot Rod. It’s a great honour to have such a large international name on the boat, they will undoubtedly help us maintain the boat to the high standards needed in modern Offshore racing.

Teng_ToolsTop Guernsey chandlery Seaquest Marine have supplied the team with new Garmin navigation gear. Any visitors to Guernsey this season will be very impressed at the choice and value for money they offer on a large range of top names, such as Helly Hansen, Garmin and International Paints. They are also agents for Hertz Hire Cars and have great deals for any visiting racers or sailors.

It’s no secret that the team enjoy a drop of Guernsey’s famous lager Breda every now and again, so they are pleased to announce a continuation of the partnership that started in 2014. Navigator Chris Stonebridge is “very happy to be supported by the best beer in the world!”

Also joining the team are N.E. Signs & Graphics, who will be expertly applying the signage to the slick black Phantom, White Inc Tattoo (responsible for the extensive artwork on Paul and Neil) and Treevolution Professional Tree Surgeons.

Last but not least is Dorset based sunglasses & clothing company The Rum Life.

Paul states,

The Rum Life are a great little company, and share the same passion that we do for making the most of life and doing things yourself. They make great sunglasses at a great price, which can be found at www.therumlife.uk

Slayer II will be racing the entire Guernsey series, the 3A World Championships in Tvedestrand, the Cowes Classic and Coniston Records Week.

Anyone interested in joining the team are invited to email pauletasse@hotmail.com
