Fresh after the success of the Asia Powerboat Championship – Singapore, the two organisers signed a Cooperation Agreement.

The Singapore Power Boat Association (SPBA) will be offering powerboat racing training to potential local competitors, and for their part, the APA presented two of their Tohatsu powered Shakespeare T750 boats to be used for the purpose.

Locally based racer, Campbell Jenkins, who finished second overall in last weekend’s championship, expects at least one driver from Singapore to have fully trained-up by the time that the series returns to the country next year.
