Silverline to feature at London?

Please Share!

The F1H2o London Facebook page reported this morning that, ‘a 14-metre, five-tonne, V12 Class 1 offshore powerboat, which will hit a straight-line speed of up to 100mph’, will be demonstrating to spectators at the London event over the weekend of June 16th and 17th.

The boat is in fact Drew Langdon’s Mercury powered Outerlimits hull – Silverline.

I spoke to Langdon this morning about the mouth watering prospect of seeing his 1984 HP beast on the Royal Victoria Dock:

I have been asked to take Silverline to London and demonstrate her during the F1H2o weekend.
Miles Jennings, my co-driver and I have just got back from watching the Monaco GP and now our thoughts are directed towards the Fortitudo Property Poole Bay 100 Offshore race on June the 10th.
If everything is okay after that 121 Nautical Mile challenge, we intend to take her up to London.
