Riabko takes pole – Alqamzii & Österberg out in Q1

Edgaras Riabko took pole position for tomorrow’s Grand Prix of Lithuania in Kupiskis this afternoon.

His 40.888 second lap was executed after he waited for the perfect time to hit the course during the 15 minute Q3 session.

Ferdinand Zandbergen drove his BaBa hull second fastest, + 0.008 down on Riabko.

Defending UIM F2 World Champion, Duarte Benavente was third quickest on a 41.113.

Daniel Segenmark held off Team Abu Dhabi’s Mansoor Al Mansoori for fourth on the grid while Sweden’s Bimba Sjöholm was unable to set a time due to fuel issues.

The action in Q1 centred around Johan Österberg and Rashed Alqamzii who had a coming together, both drivers are are hoping to repair their boats for the race tomorrow.
