Peedell sets new V24 World Record

Please Share!

Brian Peedell and Neil Jackson have set a new World Record at 78.53 mph in the V24 class (subject to ratification) on Coniston Water today.

Marc Lamont has held the record since 2006 with a speed of 77.26 mph.

Since that record was set, in 2014 the UIM announced a change of engine for the class from the Volvo 5.7gxi to the Volvo V8 350-C 5.3 litre engine which Peedell and Jackson were running today.
