More Sharjah success for Stromoy?

John Moore on 15th December 2019

Emirates Racing’s Marit Stromoy travels from Oslo Gardermoen airport to Sharjah today, the venue where she made history in 2015, becoming the first female to win a F1H2o race.

Stromoy has had a stellar season, with three top five finishes, a podium in China and lies third overall in the 2019 UIM F1H2o World Championship.

Stromoy currently has 37 points this season, 10 ahead of Thani Al Qemzi and is on target for her best year-end position.

The Norwegian is always a threat in qualifying and this year has proven once again what a great competitor and a genuine threat to the front runners she is and will be eager to end the year with a well-deserved victory that she is more than capable of getting.
