Erik Stark is in Monaco this weekend to receive his UIM Silver Medal for his fine performances in F1H2o last year.

Sadly, the ‘crowd-pleasing’ and ‘hard-charging’ racer will not be in Saudi Arabia next weekend for the start of the 2019 season.

However, there could be some good news, the Swede told me this afternoon:

I want to race in Portugal, with the same boat that I won with in London last year.

It is still a big Question Mark – I will not do just one race, I want to compete in the whole of the Championship.

For Stark to do that, it comes down to finance.

I am hoping that we can announce something positive soon.

I have already booked my flight to Faro in anticipation.
