Injury forces Langdon out of Macau

John Moore on 26th April 2019

Drew Langdon, the winner of the Hong Kong Asia Powerboat Championship, will not be taking part in Macau, over the weekend of May 3-5.

Langdon badly hurt his shoulder in a testing accident last weekend and that has restricted his arm movement.

He told me after a check-up in hospital this afternoon:

There are plenty of One Arm Bandits in Macau and I’m not sure they need another one!

Langdon from Devon, was the class of the field in Hong Kong last November and surprised many – as he is predominately known best as a big boat offshore racer:

I need to get fit for June now, I’ll be racing my Outerlimits hull at the Fortitudo Property Poole Bay 100 and the competition is already looking very tough.
