Alex Carella, who spectacularly crashed out of the F1H2o Grand Prix of France this afternoon on lap 24, was taken to hospital with a suspected broken leg.
The good news is that now he has been examined, Carella has sustained heavy bruising and not a break.
The reigning World Champion has had a tough start since joining the Victory Team and I’m sure you will join me in wishing the talented Italian well.
John raced Offshore UIM Class 3 in the 1980’s & 1990’s.
He served as the Cowes Torquay Cowes Event Director for 4 years, including running the 50 th Anniversary Event in 2010.
He has recently organised 4 British Offshore races under UKOPRA sanction.
