Scott Gillman spoke about his racing career to Frode Sundsdal on Sunday evening and revealed for the first time in public why he left both Abu Dhabi and Victory as team manager.
On leaving the Abu Dhabi team Gillman told Sundsdal:
I blame no one other than myself for the Abu Dhabi story.
Gillman departed company from the Victory Team last year after not seeing eye to eye with the Dubai based team’s management:
I think its a big mistake by Victory to not produce boats.
To buy a boat and win is easy.
The American who is based in Casale Monferrato, Italy, set up a new team to challenge for the 2020 UIM F1H2o World Championship with Alex Carella and Greg Foster as his drivers.
He tells of his long standing admiration for Foster and thinks Carella has the best track record over the last decade in F1H2o.
