Edin pips Lundin to UIM F2 pole in Tvedestrand

Sweden’s Erik Edin narrowly pipped reigning UIM F2 World Champion Pierre Lundin to pole in Tvedestrand, Norway today.

Rupp Temper will be third on the grid with ‘Comeback King’, Frode Sundsdal ecstatic with starting in fourth place tomorrow after the old friends posted the same times.

Sundsdal had missed Round 2 in Campione, unable to get his boat together in time after a coming together with Owen Jelf at the first race of the season.

Young British charger Matt Palferyman had to settle for tenth, with no times set in Q3 after Race Director Pelle Larsson adjudged that he had entered the course incorrectly <<Article>> , whilst his team mate Jelf was sixth quickest.

Mette Bjerknæs put her brand new Moore hull into Q3 for the first time this season, only for her Mercury to go into ‘safe mode’ on both of the qualifying laps.
