Ciao ciao for now

Chris Davies on 15th November 2021

One of powerboat racing most seasoned campaigners FRANCESCO CANTANDO who, since making his UIM F1 debut in Wuxi, China back in 1996, accumulating the second highest points tally of any current racer in the UIM F1H2O series, has tonight spoken exclusively to PRW and for fans of the BLAZE PERFORMANCE team it’s not good news.

Incredibly since 1996 the Italian driver, who has grown up surrounded by the sport has not missed a single Grand Prix to date, but all that changes now. Cantando confirmed to PRW that he will not enter his team in the GRAND PRIX OF PORTUGAL taking place in Figueira da Foz in ten days’ time.“We will be back next year” said the charismatic Italian with a smile, but when we pushed him further on why he is not participating he said he would rather not comment on why his record breaking his streak of races has no come an end after twenty-five years.
