Now we have a thrilling UIM F1H2o title race

After a lengthy summer recess, the UIM F1H2o World Championship is back with vengeance this weekend in China, and the title race is heating up.

Few would have predicted that Jonas Andersson would be topping the leader board at this stage of the season, he currently holds a 3-point advantage over defending champion Shaun Torrente after his second place in the Grand Prix of Xiamen today.

Carella’s Chinese Comeback

Alex Carella won the UIM F1H2o Grand Prix of Xiamen today, his first race win since Sharjah in 2017, when he also won the World Championship for Team Abu Dhabi.

The Italian lead the 32 laps from the start to the chequered flag to secure a convincing victory for his new team, Maverick Racing.

Carella takes first pole for Maverick

Alex Carella took pole for today's UIM F1H2o Grand Prix of Xiamen during the Rebellion Qualifications.

The four-time UIM F1H2o World Champion who had a tough time with the Victory Team, bounced back to form with his new team and posted a 52.26 lap time, his first pole position since Sharjah in 2017.

Oh là là! Carella is a Maverick

Four time UIM F1H2o World Champion, Alex Carella, will be driving for the Maverick Team this weekend and taking part in a spectacular double header with the Grand Prix of Xiamen taking place on Saturday, 19 October followed by the Grand Prix of China 24 hours later.
