Giovanni Carpitella and Andrea Bacchi won the UIM Class 3D European Championship in Rodi Garganico last weekend.

The vastly experienced Italian racers last won the title together back in 2017 and took the world championship in the same class in 2018.

The winners podium was an all Italian affair, with Gianluca Coltro and Giampaolo Montavoci taking the second step and Roberto Lo Piano and Andrea Comello claiming bronze medals.

1st) Giovanni Carpitella and Andrea Bacchi – 800 points
2nd) Gianluca Coltro and Giampaolo Montavoci – 394 points
3rd) Roberto Lo Piano and Andrea Comello – 300 points
