Four time UIM F1H2o World Champion, Alex Carella, will drive for the Maverick Team for the remainder of the 2019 UIM F1H2o season.

Carella who has been racing for the Victory Team, announced last week that he would be leaving the Dubai based outfit and said:

I want to thank all the Victory Team for the past year and a half we had together.

I thank all the people who believed in me and my fans who always supported me.

The hull that Carella will be using in the next round of the World Championship will be the DAC that he campaigned in Evian, France for Victory (above).

Eagle eyed readers will note that it is the boat that Grant Trask ran in 2017 and 2018 for F1 Team Atlantic.

Round 4 will be held in Xiangyang, China, September 27-29.
