2 of Charles Burnett III’s boats were sold at auction yesterday, where Sworders Fine Art Auctioneers, held a 100 lot, eclectic, ‘Into the Groove’ sale.

Burnett’s Skater catamaran, (above) that set the UIM Class 2 World Speed record on Lake Windermere in 1995, sold for £5,000.00, while his Phantom 23′, Gas, Gas, Gas, (below) fetched an impressive £12,500.00.

Sworders were unable to give me the names of the buyers due to client confidentiality.
