Jamie Atlee, George Elmore and Harvey Smith will be representing Britain in the 2018 UIM GT15 World Championship to be held in Traben-Trarbach, Germany next weekend, (9/10 June).

Harvey Smith (top photo) won the 2017 Powerboat GP GT15 Championship and has been seen campaigning his new F4 Moore hull in British club events this year.

Smith switches back to GT15 hoping to improve on his sixth place overall in the World Championship held in Finland last year.

George Elmore

George Elmore won the Powerboat GP RYA British Sprint championship last year and was runner-up to Smith in the British Championship.

Elmore will have the full backing of his Jelf Racing Team in Germany

His uncle and Team Manager Colin Jelf commented:

George has been in really strong form recently.
Over the last couple of years his racing has come on leaps and bounds, he learns with every race and takes on the information the team give him.
The boat is performing really well and George is in one of the strongest positions of his junior racing career.
The whole family, the team and our sponsors FibreTech UK are 100% behind him.

Jamie Atlee

Jamie Atlee is newcomer to powerboat racing, starting last year, and will be making his first trip abroad to face international competition.
