Boxing Clever in the rough

Please Share!

The Exmouth Powerboat Club held their annual Boxing Day Rally in choppy conditions whipped up by a 20 mph wind.

Racers from all over Britain made the trek to the West Country to compete, and in equal measure blow the Christmas excesses off.

16 entrants ranging from 16′ to 35′ battled for consistency, for the best timed constant laps were key and not the fastest boat.

David Foa’s Pascoe SR9 Sport Rib (above) ended up with the most consistent time and toasted his success with a glass of wine.
