Bermuda – Ferry Reach

John Moore on 14th June 2016

Sunday 12 June 2016 saw spectators line the shores for the second scheduled race day of the season in Bermuda.

Once again only four boats made their way to Ferry Reach, however only three of the boats entered the water.

Winning the A Class was Cleveland Maybury and Sal DeMello, who only completed their one lap to get full race and class points.

mapThe highlight of the day was for the crowd to witness the battle for bragging rights in the S Class, as Aaron Sims and Steven Bridges powered S20, a 28′ Skater powered by twin Mercury 300xs engines to the winners circle, while Neil Fox and Stanford Rawlins finished a distant second in S122.

The D class boat did not race due to temperature gauge issues and there were no B Class boats due to mechanical and other issues.

The next race is will be our Nationals race scheduled for 26 June 2016 Spanish Point Boat Club.
