Britain’s Ben Jelf will race for Team Amaravati in the F4-s class during the Grand Prix of India over 18/19 November.

Team Amaravati’s Jonas Andersson said:

We are so pleased to have a great young competitor like Ben driving F4s for Team Amaravati and we are sure that he will do his best to try and get a podium finish for us.
We have been watching Ben’s career progress for a while now and it is great news that he will be joining us in India.

Jelf who won a Bronze medal in the UIM European F4 Championship this year commented on the opportunity:

I’ve watched Jonas race over the last few years and to be able to join him as part of Team Amaravati at their home event is a great honour and fantastic opportunity for me.

Although I have not driven their F4s boat before, I know the team have the experience in setting the boat up to get the best from it, and I will certainly try my best to get good results for the team.

The 2 F4-s races in Amaravati will give Jelf the chance to renew rivalries with fellow Brit, Sam Whittle who currently lies 4th in the Championship.
