Raynor Becker and Michael van Geems  lead the 7 Stars UIM P750 Pro Stock World Championship in Cape Town, South Africa after completing 2 days of surf disciplines.

South African teams are dominating a 40 boat class and are sitting pretty in the podium positions.

Britain’s Darryn Harrison and Jimmy Ion / Moku Racing (above) look to be the ‘overseas threat’in Moku Racing, with 2 heat wins on Saturday helping them into fourth place overall.

Fellow Brits Blìgh Julius and Charlie Hatfield / Team 33 MultiSpark Racing showed promise in the first day of racing with a strong second place, however, they came a cropper to a monster wave in the second heat that flipped them over.

Returning to form, Julius and Hatfield clinched a third place in the final heat in their BrandFuel sponsored hull, putting them into 14th position overall.

The teams take a rest today and tomorrow will tackle a 150 km ‘Long Haul’ through shark infested waters!
