Ahmad Saeed bin Meshar has been appointed as Chairman of the new Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) board.

The Crown Prince of Dubai President of the DIMC, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum issued the resolution which also showed that Saif Juma Al Suwaidi will be the DIMC Vice Chairman.

The DIMC board will be made up of, Ibrahim Sultan Al Hadad, Rashid Thani Al Aail, Jamal Zaal bin Kreshan, Essa Mohamed Elhag Nasser and Khalid Ali Al Balooshi.

The Dubai International Marine Club was formed in 1988 to promote the UAE and Dubai as a tourist location and in 1994, the DIMC was recognised as the government agency responsible for marine sports in Dubai.

In November last year, Powerboat Racing World reported that the Victory Team was to come under the control of the DIMC and the 2020 Resolution No. (2) issued yesterday, formally confirmed that.

Huraiz Al Mur Bin Huraiz the former Chairman of the Board of Directors at Victory Team has not joined the transition over to the DIMC.
