Abu Dhabi Team Manager Guido Cappellini has announced a formidable line-up of drivers to compete in this year’s 24 Heures motonautiques de Rouen.

F1H2o drivers Shaun Torrente and Thani Al Qemzi, 2017 UIM F2 World Champion Rashed Al-Qemzi and Rashed Al-Tayer will be heading to France to compete in the event that will be held over the weekend of April 30th – May 1st.

Torrente told Powerboat Racing World today:

I really want to thank Guido and the Abu Dhabi team for giving me the opportunity of being able to compete in the UIM World Circuit Endurance Championship.

I love competing at Rouen – The night racing makes it really special.

Torrente won the S2 UIM World Circuit Endurance Championship class last year with the Russian team, New Star. He will be in Monaco in a couple of weeks with former team mates Roman Vandyshev and Mikhail Kitashev.

He will also be meeting up with Rashed Al-Qemzi:

My wife Flavia and I will be celebrating our win with New Star and Rashed’s 2017 F2 World Championship at the UIM Awards Giving Gala and maybe even talking tactics!
