Young Swedish racer Adam Wrenkler won the prestigious His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Khalifa Al-Nahyan – Abu Dhabi Trophy for his achievements in the 2017 UIM Circuit GT15 category.

The award was donated by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Khalifa Al-Nahyan, advisor to the Head of State and chairman of the board of directors of the Abu Dhabi International Marine Sports Club, and was presented at the UIM Awards’ dinner at Sporting Club Monte-Carlo on Saturday night.

Wrenkler began his career in power boat racing in 2011 at the age of nine before moving from Junior 15 to GT15 in 2012. He decided to make 2017 his last year in the GT15 class a memorable one and won 70% of the races. He hopes to race in GT30 in 2018.
