Contrasting fortunes for UIM F2 Lady Racers in Finland

The 2016 UIM F2 World Championship has 2 very quick Lady Drivers competing for honours this year. Bimba Sjöholm from Sweden and Norway’s Mette Brandt Bjerknæs both travelled to Lake Peurunkajarvi in Finland with high hopes of doing well in the first of a seven round Championship. Sjöholm was racing under the new BRM (Boat Race Management) umbrella of Dean Stallard and Steve Kerton, while Bjerknæs arrived in Finland with a brand new David Moore F2 hull. Whilst pre-season testing in Sweden had gone well for Bjerknæs under the watchful eye of team mate and 2015 UIM F2 World Champion Pierre Lundin, the race weekend was far from favourable. DRYU are a new company based in Bournemouth. They are now supplying high performance waterproof, sand, snow and dirt proof protection dry bags in a range of sizes and stand-out colours.
