SUNUS Ocean Racing are off to the barbers

The SUNUS Ocean Racing (SOR) team have announced a partnership with leading male grooming brand; The Old Street Barber Co.

This partnership paves the way for an exciting 2016 calendar, focused around the historic Cowes Classic, one of the world’s oldest endurance boating events.

SOR operate as an international offshore racing team, using marine motor sport as a platform to raise awareness for Stillbirth & Neonatal death. Members of the team have raised close to £30,000 for children’s charities thus far, however there is so much more to do and this commercial partnership only strengthens the team’s efforts.

The Old Street Barber Co. specialise in grooming products for bearded men. This includes beard oils, moustache wax, combs and accessories. They have gained a large following on-line in recent years sharing tips on how to care for your beard properly.

Partnering with The Old Street Barber Co. is an exciting move for SUNUS Ocean Racing. Their quality of products and professionalism add to an ideally suited commercial partner. With a large, international following, our motor sport program will offer unique and adrenaline fuelled content to their customers. Added too that our mission of raising awareness for Stillbirth will reach further afield and a wider audience.

SUNUS Ocean Racing are entering the historic Cowes Classic Powerboat Race, an endurance race of 200nm. Teams from all over the world travel to Cowes, Isle of Wight to compete. Dating back to the 60’s and founded by Sir Max Aitken of The Daily Express, the Cowes Classic is one of the oldest endurance events of its type. SOR are entering their 34ft, 600hp racer; The SW34. The SOR Testing program starts towards the end of this month.
