Rain and wind doesn’t hinder Jelf’s progress

Ben Jelf once again improved his speed on Coniston Water this morning.

The 18 year old has been running a F2 Molgaard hull on the lake during Coniston Records Week, today the weather took a turn for the worse with gusts of wind and rain.

However, the inclement weather didn’t hinder Jelf’s progress and he posted a new personal best speed of 124.27mph.

With the event due to wrap before Friday lunchtime, it’s going to be fascinating to see how much more speed the teenager can ‘wring out’ of the Danish built and designed hull.
