Team Abu Dhabi’s Thani Al-Qemzi created a little piece of history by becoming the first Arab driver ever to win the Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi.
Thani Al Qemzi won the F1H2o Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi which in turn lifted him to second in the F1H2o Championship while Shaun Torrente just did enough to hold on to the lead after finishing sixth.
Tom Chiappe from France dominated the Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi F4-s racing this weekend with 2 Pole Positions and 2 race wins.
The final practice session on Saturday morning marked the last opportunity for teams to arrive at the optimum set-up for the race and try out propeller choices and shakedown the boats for the last time.
Ten boats lined up for the morning’s F4-s practice session and it was Frenchman Tom Chiappe, the winner of race one, who clocked the quickest lap of 1:02.03 which just gave him the edge over Alexander Lindholm.
