F1H20 Take Away Indian Event

John Moore on 17th September 2019

F1H20 have formally announced that the calendared event at Amravati, India will not take place this season.

The race which was first run last year, was a huge hit with the Amravati locals and racers alike. However, a change of local government since 2018 has posed issues for the organisers of powerboat racing’s premier series.

The scheduled event in China will now host a ‘Double Header’, to complete the necessary amount of rounds to constitute a world championship.

The Grand Prix of Xiamen will be held on the 19th of October with the Grand Prix of China to be run the next day.

There will be also be qualifying sessions before each race.

The final round of the 2018 UIM F1H2o World Championship will be held in Sharjah on December 18-21.

It will be an incredibly busy event in China, with a strain on machinery and of course on Steve ‘The Voice’ Michael’s vocal chords.
