Guido Cappellini, the Team Manager of Abu Dhabi announced this afternoon in Monaco that 2018 F1H2o World Champion, Shaun Torrente will not be in his driver line-up for this year’s 24 Heures Motonautiques de Rouen.

The UAE team will be taking 2 boats to France with F1H2o driver Thani Al Qemzi, 2017 UIM F2 World Champion Rashed Al-Qemzi and Italian driver Tullio Abbate featuring.

Torrente told Powerboat Racing World’s Silvia Borgonovi:

Rouen gives a great opportunity for our youngest Emirati drivers to gain great experience in a short amount of time.

My goal is to focus on the UIM F1H2o 2019 season which starts next week in Damman, Saudi Arabia.

There is talk about bad weather there, we will just do our job with Shaun and Thani and Mehairbi and Rashed Al Remeithi  drivers in the F4-s class.
