2 things I was particularly looking forward to today have been postponed.
The first has been documented elsewhere, and the second is the start of the 2019 UIM F1H2o World Championship.
Winds of over 19 mph in Damman have caused the postponement of the REBELLION Official Qualifying session.
Luis Ribeiro, the UIM Race Director commented on the decision,
It is a very frustrating situation we are facing but our ultimate responsibility is the safety of the drivers.
We expect the conditions to calm over the next 24hrs and we are provisionally looking to reschedule qualifying to tomorrow.
A new timetable will be issued by the organisers later today.
