Juho-Matti Manninen took a second UIM F4 World Championship win this season at Stewartby today.

The defending World Champion started from pole and put in an assured shift on the British Lake.

Britain’s Ben Morse impressed in qualifying, setting the second fastest time in the Q3 six boat shoot-out.

However, it was all down hill from there, Morse finished 4th in the race and was subsequently excluded for a get together with a couple of buoys.

Nikita Lijcs finished Round 3 as he did Round 2, second.

Morgan Jernfast from Sweden took his first podium of the season with third.

Ben Jelf, in his first season of UIM F4 competition, drove another mature race and a fifth place was reward for his drive, his father Colin finished 11th after struggling with handling.

Sam Whittle’s 14th place was somewhat of a result, he had split a spline in qualifying and in the process lost his best propeller.

Round 4 is scheduled for tomorrow, (Sunday).
